This year for August Craft Month, Craft NI is delighted to partner with the Ulster Museum in this fantastic opportunity for a selected maker or makers to sell their work through the Ulster Museum shop in the run up to Christmas.

Applications are invited for products based on the Ulster Museum disciplines including but not restricted to; ceramics, glass, jewellery and textiles. Preference will be given to products which reflect or are inspired by the Ulster Museum Collections.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to sell their work through the Ulster Museum shop for 3 months in the Christmas season. This is lovely opportunity for a unique retail tie-in with one of Northern Ireland's most visited destinations, as well as being the home to an important craft collection.

Ulster Museum tells the unique human story of this part of Ireland, and houses a vast array of art, historical artefacts and specimens from the natural world. It is one of four museums within National Museums NI; Northern Ireland’s premier cultural, learning and tourist destinations.

The Ulster Museum, located in the Botanic Gardens in Belfast, has around 8,000 square metres of public display space, featuring material from the collections of fine art and applied art, archaeology, ethnography, treasures from the Spanish Armada, local history, numismatics, industrial archaeology, botany, zoology and geology. It is the largest museum in Northern Ireland.
