Deborah Toner selected to make award pieces for Voluntary Arts Epic Awards

Belfast based artist, Deborah Toner has been selected to create award pieces for the Voluntary Arts Epic Awards, due to be held in Dublin on 3 May 2018.

The Epic Awards were set up in 2010 by Voluntary Arts, to promote participation in creative cultural activities and shine a spotlight on the achievements of voluntary arts groups across the UK and Republic of Ireland each year.

In collaboration with Voluntary Arts and Top Floor Art, Deborah Toner was invited to create Dublin themed pieces for this years Awards Ceremony.

"When I knew the Epic Awards were being held in Dublin I immediately thought of my Dublin Skyline design. However, I also make this in a multicoloured fill design and thought this would be more appropriate to celebrate such a diverse and creative event. I have made each of the awards absolutely unique. These colour ways and design arrangement will never be repeated so each winner will have a truly special one-off piece of art." Deborah Toner
